Amongst a slew of new openings, we're in search for a Scientist for our group at IMRE. For this role, the design of relevant quantum devices and the development fabrication recipes for realizing such devices will be a crucial area of research and development.

We seek a passionate and committed candidate to work on the fabrication and development of quantum devices with the long-term goal of building a scalable and error free quantum computer and related quantum metrology.

The main responsibilities of this role include the design and fabrication of 2D material devices, development of process fabrication and etching recipes, device characterization, manuscript writing and contribution in grant-writing.

Who should apply?

If you are a candidate with a Ph.D. degree in physics, applied physics, materials science, electrical-electronics engineering, or related fields; you are urged to consider this opportunity. Proficiency with lithography and etching techniques, along with laboratory experience in materials processing and device fabrication is required. Experience with 2D materials is strongly preferred.
